Cuarto Enchilado (Chilli Room),1994
This work was part of the inaugural exhibition of La Panadería and consisted of a room covered in grease and splashed with chili powder.
Besides the vibrating visual impact of the chili's bright orange color, this work affects the other senses and slowly penetrates the public who, after a short while, needs to abandon the space due to its irritating effect. In this way, this work creates a powerful attraction/repulsion tension.
